Ya Nui Beach is a twin-coved beach at the very southern end of Phuket, set in a sheltered bay between Promthep Cape and the Nai Harn headland. The beach is small — perhaps 100 metres of sand divided by a rocky outcrop — but the water is exceptionally clear and calm, and the setting is among the most picturesque on the island. The southern cove faces directly toward Koh Bon and Koh Hae, and kayaks can be rented to paddle across to the smaller islands. The northern cove has a gentle slope ideal for swimming and good snorkeling along the rocky edges. A small beach café operates in high season. Ya Nui is a popular spot for Phuket residents seeking a quiet escape close to Nai Harn and Rawai. The road along the headland toward Promthep passes Ya Nui at its most scenic stretch, with dramatic sea views on both sides.
